THIS ISNT THE STYLE I USUALLY PARTAKE IN

But I'm not a huge fucking tool and can formulate proper opinions and sentences haha! Yeah, that hate is not directed at you, the creator of this track. In fact I have no hate for you at all. This is a wonderful songs. The recording is of excellent quality. You've captured a lot of feeling in those guitars. The strings are only a little bit oddly placed but really don't take away anything. I'll give you a solid 10 for a solid track.

mr-vincent responds:

Hahahahahahaha, Thanks man !

ITS RERRY NICE.

Allright before we degenerate into racial stereotypes; I'll say excellent Track. I wouldn't doubt this belong in a Chinese restaurant. In fact its making me desperately hungry. Oh god i just let it loop like 6 times.

Urbanus responds:

If you get your fill, wait half an hour and come back for more!

Rough, but like an uncut diamond

Which as you know, has lots of potential. This is a fine piece of progressive trance. It is really a good start, the sounds and progression are awesome. I do have some suggestions. That synth stab, since its so repetitive add some automation to add interest. Do things like... simply playing with the cutoff or increase the decay time every 8 measures, or maybe change the decay time in the reverb and introduce some heavy feedback delay to give a rushing sound. As well, the bass is totaly lost in the mix, which is too bad! Its got a good sound. My tip for mixing, turn every channel/insert down, slowly bring it back up and stopping when it sounds just loud enough. Then bring in others to compare. Not every thing needs to be maxed at 0.0 DB, since that leads to a muddy sounding mix. And my last suggestion, just for aesthetic purposes, try some light side-chaining on the pads/textures, as not only does that clear up the mix a bit, it adds a cool rhythmic effect.

It really is a great track.

FlamingFirebolt responds:

Yay feedback.
Variation on the stabs is actually done :O. After i uploaded it i noticed that. Well it does changes cutoff, only each 16 bars :). The thin with decay is a nice idea but i think it would clogg up the mixing but i can try.
The bass was susposedbly soft. I think i can tweak it some more thanks for the suggestion. There is absolutely no mixing so far but i'll keep it in mind.

THanks for your feedback!

Absolute heaven...

To use a word i have learned in my time producing music, what a "dope" track. A completely serene tide of ambient textures that just flow around my headphones. Beautiful sound design.

Ahhh yeah!

Funk oozes from the pores of this song. Awesome jam session. Backing track is not so cheesy, but moody. Chill. The guitar is half mid 90s cop show and half yoko kanno soundtrack. Very fun to listen too.

Metaljonus responds:

lmao half mid 90's cop show I can feel you on that one man. Thanks for listening.

Sick Smooth Sounds

What a fantastic composition. A grand opera of chill out. Props indeed to sorohanro for the guitar and trumpet. Recording quality is top notch. The synth side is fantastic. Mixing is perfect, the fluttery arpegiated synths fill the stereo feild so nicely. Love the lush pads.
I could just chill out ith this on loop for ever.

Funny, Vanesa said the same thing to me...

AHAHA. I JEST, I JEST!
The song is very sweet in a teen pop punk love ballad kinda way. maybe too sweet. I agree with the below poster, this song need vocals for extra sap effect.
I have no problems with the recording quality, its very warm and close. The mixing is fairly well done. The drums are flat sounding but they don't take away from the track. Great listen.

A wise man once said...

"Everybody needs a 303," and I think its safe to say the same applies to Hammonds. Infact, I say why not have SIX. I will never get sick of the sound. Theres something so pleasing about the lfos cuased by the harmonics.

Sick

A combination of two of my favourite electronic music styles at the moment. Seriously its like you WENT INTO MY MIND. But yeah, the intelligent beats are just sick, and the huge filthy bass is rather addictive.

Its like Noisia mixed with 16bit mixed with more straight up break beat like Freestylers. It'd definitely work on some huge sound system.

Can't wait to hear more!

Ahhh yes

Oh the ol' Morrison/Mau5 8th/sidechain stab. You either hit it or you miss it, and you sir, have hit it. This really is quite a pleasing bit of tech-house/trance. Minimal in structure but not in sound. I'd like to hear the kick a bit meatier (although it does sound pretty good on my monitors.) Great progression in the track, and balance between dynamics. Hurrah for side chain!

Oh and this is better than the original (with not offence to the creator.) I just can't stand piano in trance/house music anymore.
